Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA) presents "The Green Fairy Cabaret," during the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA) at the Kimmel Center's rooftop Hamilton Garden. Performances will take place nightly at 10:00pm (adults), and on Saturday and Sunday at 12:00pm (all ages). Tickets are on sale now for $16 and $20 at http://pifa.org/events/980191030.
During Green Fairy, all eyes will be on the skies. High above the trapeze — swirling through the silks — circling the hoop. Aerial and acrobatic feats abound, plus comedy, juggling and spectacular physical skills in this circus variety show. Join the fun — and "catch" your own Green Fairy. PSCA wants its fans to join the fun and excitement, with a chance to win tickets to the performance!
Entering is easy! First, become a fan of Philadelphia School of Circus Arts on Facebook. Next, take your best Green Fairy and circus-inspired photos, featuring you and/or your family/friends. We ask that you post these photos to the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts Facebook page — and tag yourself! The photos can be serious, artistic, silly, fun, anything you want! Don't worry if you don't have the world's best camera. We are judging based on your ideas and your creativity. When you post, please add a headline or tagline. You can also include information on what inspired you, how much fun you had taking the short, or anything you want to share.
PSCA staff will select TWO winners to enjoy FREE tickets to the "Cabaret." The most creative and the best-themed picture win FOUR tickets, worth $80. The second place winner wins TWO tickets, worth $40. The deadline is 11:59pm, on Tuesday, February 5, 2011. E-mail PSCA Public Relations and Marketing Manager Kory Aversa at email@example.com if you have any questions, or need help with Facebook. Good luck!
