Annenberg Center Oyster Philadelphia School of Circus Arts Kory AversaInbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak’s master work Oyster makes its Philadelphia debut on February 9, 10 and 11, 2012 at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, with promotional support from Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA).

Oyster is dance theatre at its best with a blend of fantasy and sideshow spectacle about a fantastic circus world of wandering street acrobats and oddly beautiful creatures. Drawing its name from filmmaker Tim Burton’s (Edward ScissorhandsAlice in Wonderland) book of short poems and sketches, Oyster is a witty blend of ballet, mime, modern dance, physical comedy and acrobatics employing fantastical costumes and set to an eclectic score.  Oyster is a "work of stunning beauty that transcends time and place," Washington Post.

PSCA will give away free tickets to Oyster on Facebook, as well as give Facebook fans a special 20% off discount code for "PSCA Night" at the show.  Learn more by "liking" Philadelphia School of Circus Arts on Facebook.
