The  2012 Philadelphia International Flower Show is only a week away!  Get swept away to Philly’s “New Hawaii” at the world’s largest and best flower show.   The “Islands of Aloha” open on Sunday, March 4, but you don’t have to wait to glimpse  the tropical fun….

This week we will preview the show and related entertainment.   We will also get our hands down and dirty helping  exhibitors put together an award-winning (fingers crossed) display.   The week will end with first-look photos from the media preview event.

Tiki huts and palm trees start to transform the PA Convention Center.

Let the final countdown begin with the announcement of our TICKET GIVEAWAY WINNERS.  Congrats to Gary Hines for winning two tickets in our very first contest.  We also congratulate Bev Jones who won our second place prize, a pair of authentic Kukui Nut Lei Necklaces!  (Watch for our next contest to be posted the week of February 27, 2012. We are sending you to another vacation paradise – this time its a day of splashtastic fun!)

The Flower Show begins in 8 days but here’s your first look! Say Aloha to the very first shot of Philly’s “New Hawaii” (photo to the right, and the concept drawing it is based on (bottom left).  We can’t wait to see the final product and catch a wave…
