Heat wave after heat wave, Philly’s burning up this summer. Wish you were cooling off on the shores of P-Town, Asbury or Rehoboth?  Don’t fret! You don’t have to hit the road to enjoy a little fun on the beach.  Grab your swimsuit and get ready to with the Boys of Summer and Philly Gay Calendar.

On August 10th from 9:00pm to 3:30am, Voyeur Nightclub will be home to this must-do party of the summer, with lifeguards, sunglasses, speedos, whistles, prizes and, of course, eye candy.  Voyeur will be splashing around some summertime flavored shots.  Surf your way to the dance floor and enjoy three levels of fun. If you are lucky, the lifeguard will might even offer you some mouth-to-mouth.

Starting at Midnight, flick off your shades as you won’t want to miss Miss Philly Pride, The Goddess Isis, and her Sinful Sisters—Porcelain, Omyra Lynn, Misty Maven, Navaya Shay & Satine Harlow. It promises to be a stunning act: fierce, flawless makeup meets pure musical talent and premiere show(wo)manship. Maybe you’ve seen The Goddess in her weekly show at Tabu, or riding a float during this year’s Gay Pride Parade, but she and her cohorts are a real sight to behold. Opening for the Goddess Isis is Alfi Sosa, a pole dancer from Master Jay Moves Dance Studio, as well as a performance from the dance troupe Vicious Delicious.

Want your own moment to shine?  Enter the “Hot Boy of Summer” contest and take home some cash and one spiffy title. Talk about summer luvin’. If you needed an incentive to come prepared for the beach, guests who arrive in swimming gear will only play $15 of the usual $20 cover price. Proceeds of the event will go to support PhillyGayCalendar‘s mission to organize the gay community.  Come out and show them some love for all they do!

We’re already cutting the carbs and picking out our swimsuit.  Join us for this last, great blowout of the season.  The beach has NOTHING on Boys of Summer!
