This coming weekend, Philadelphians return from the shore for a massive dance party on Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Beyonce and Nine Inch Nails will headline the two-day music festival that includes our personal favorites Imagine Dragons, plus Queens Of The Stone Age, deadmau5, Phoenix, Calvin Harris, Empire Of The Sun, Imagine Dragons, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miguel, Public Enemy, Solange, 2 Chainz, The Gaslight Anthem, A$ap Rocky, Walk The Moon, Nero, Feed Me, Porter Robinson, Wolfgang Gartner, Fitz & The Tantrums, Emile Sande, Haim, Schoolboy Q, AB Soul, GTA, Robert Delong, Redlight, Mord Fustang, Alunageorge, Jay Rock, Jesse Rose and TJR. The diverse line-up is a loud and proud celebration of our city’s American spirit. No matter what type of music you enjoy, there’s something for everyone as we all come together for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
While the festival is held in good fun, there’s also a meaningful purpose behind the revelry. Ticket sales will benefit the United Ways in Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and Lancaster County, PA. A primary goal of this music festival is to have a positive impact on the communities involved. As a result of this concert, the money invested into these communities will positively impact the education, income and health of the most vulnerable and most needy citizens in these regions.
Our staff of Philly Love Fun actually hold a place close in our hearts for this important cause, as we have worked with and volunteered for the United Way of Greater Philadelphia, on and off, for a decade. In fact, United Way funding has helped our favorite senior centers around town by keeping seniors healthy and independent in their homes vs. nursing homes. United Way funds have also supported other causes and events close to our hearts, including women’s shelters, LGBT health programs, civic engagement programs, Martin Luther King Day of Service and much more. When they approached us for a ticket giveaway, the music festival turned our head but the important cause is actually what sealed the deal! Now, on to the contest…
We will award up to four pairs of tickets, each valid for ONE day at the Festival. Two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
Open to only those 21 and older. Winners must be willing and able to pick up tickets from our office in South Philadelphia on Friday or Saturday morning, at a mutually agreed upon time. It is the responsibility of the winner to confirm with us as soon as possible or we will have to pick an alternate winner. Entering is free, with several ways to win.
